HALLELUJAH, Jehovah Jireh!
Here is the long-awaited Prototype for our first video in our new chronological series!
We're talking about a 15-episode series expressly for the Deaf, featuring the Bible theme of Redemption through the blood of the Lamb of God (Revelation 13:8; John 1:29).
Our onscreen artist is Talitha Armbrust -- and doesn't she do an AMAZING job?
The basis for this series is the Bible, of course, but through the lens of the book and movie, "The King of Glory," by Paul Bramsen of ROCK International. Check out the website, rockintl.org, where you can see book or movie in English for free.
We have been given the privilege of bringing this great resource into ASL format to reach the Deaf community for Christ (Please pray for us!).
I said "chronological," but this first episode will be a little out of order. For we are not going all the way back to the beginning in the Garden of Eden just yet. Instead, we are trying to grab folks' attention and interest by jumping ahead to Genesis 12-22, the Call of Abraham up through the offer of Isaac as a burnt offering on Mount Moriah.
This episode is called, "Where is the Lamb?"
Although the quality is very high, thanks to Talitha, this video will not be our "finished product." Rather, we are considering this a "dry run."
We still have a few changes to make, but we want to field test this with our Deaf friends.
